The Planning Sector of Bumthang Dzongkhag is responsible for providing and preparing a long-term development framework for the Five-Year Plans and programs. It plans, coordinates, supports, and monitors the development and implementation of the Five-Year and Annual Plans of the central agency and the local government.

Mission

Ensure that GNH is mainstreamed into the planning, policy making and implementation process.
