Background

Every Dzongkhag has ICT Section  providing cross sectoral ICT services. Bumthang Dzongkhag ICT Section has currently two staff, ICT officer and an ICT Associate. ICT Section looks after the network and other ICT related work for Dzongkhag Administration, Wangdicholing Hospital, all gewogs, schools, BHUs and regional government offices. 

The total of 2 BHUs, 2 RNRs are connected to GovNet (extended from Gewog Centers).
